Collapse of the German Shepherd Dog
in-betweens are at a rate of ~5 years per frame, showing the progressional type drift in the show ring. working lines weren’t affected quite as badly, but roach back still persists in both gene pools.

Where I am it is custom to breed most German shepherds with this. However this is does make the dog more prone to hip displysia. My father use to breed them and he always sought out his dogs to have a normal back. Needless to say most European breeders do the same. Way to go America always fucking shit up.

These are German show-line dogs.

Posting it cuz it starts out with vintage dog photos but also because it is the truth. In my mind maybe this is the greatest dog gif of all time!
